Loudest Whispers 2020 (LW2020) is a short LGBT+ film by Darren Brade made during one and a half days filming before COVID 19 turned the LW2020 into an exhibition in quarantine. It is a filmmakers response to the art and artists linked to this year's LGBT+ history month theme of Poetry, Prose, and Plays. THREE LANDSCAPE ARTISTS
Three landscape artists show their work at the Gallery, St Pancras Hospital London, in the latest show curated by the Gallery's Manager, Peter Herbert. Steve Edwards and Amanda Taylor are print makers who specialise in rural and urban landscapes and also share studio space at East London Printmakers. Victoria Cantons is a painter whose brilliantly-coloured paintings are landscapes of the mind.
ART OF CARING 2017
A short film about the 2017 Art of Caring exhibition at the Gallery, St Pancras Hospital. Curated by Peter Herbert, the Gallery exhibition expands Alban Low's St George's Hospital Art of Caring show, held in connection with International Nursing Day earlier this year. Alban Low started the annual Art of Caring exhibition in 2015 and is artist in residence at the School of Nursing, Kingston University . He shows us around the exhibition and we also meet nine of the 35 artists whose work is on show at the Gallery, St Pancras Hospital and see many of the 200 postcards and haikus first displayed at St George's Hospital
The Sewing Circle's exhibition - Rethread 2017 - was one of the highlights of the year at the Gallery at St Pancras Hospital. Brilliantly coloured textile art by 23 artists covered the Gallery walls. The film includes interviews with some of the artists in their studios and the gallery and performances from the Opening Night in November 2017.
ART OF CARING 2018 EXHIBITION AT THE GALLERY ST PANCRAS HOSPITAL
The film includes Interviews with artists and music and entertainment from the Opening Night of The Art of Caring exhibition at St Pancras Hospital's Gallery. For the last three years Peter Herbert, the Gallery's Curator and Manager, and his team have worked with artist and curator Alban Low to create a unique exhibition celebrating nursing and the NHS. The St Pancras exhibition builds on Alban Low's open submission and exhibition of postcards of art work, shown at St George's Hospital, Tooting. Artists interviewed in the film include Chris Bird, Sara Bowman, Peter Herbert, Alban Low, Chloe Wing, Susie Mendelsson, Elaine Harper-Gay, residents at Stacey Street Nursing Home, Danny Mooney and Lily Mooney.
