LIFE IN THE AGE OF COVID
The film documents the creation of a ground breaking exhibition by artist Alana Jelinek whose huge mural transformed the Gallery at St Pancras hospital into an oasis of calm. This reflected the change in London during lock down, when nature began to take over. Composer Rob Godman's recording of the dawn chorus during lock down transports us back to that time. The project was conceived by Peter Herbert, Manager and Curator of the Gallery with funding for the commission from Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust. The exhibition also features work of 21 Other Voices, a wide range of artists who reflect on their very varied experiences of lock down.
